THE PLAN MAGAZINE AS ROMA HEADQUARTERS

The project was born respecting the history and
the heritage of the buildings in the midst of italian
rationalism and Italian neoclassicism, remaining
faithful to pure materials (marble, travertine, brass),
light colours, monumentality, symmetry, the light and
the great spaces so dear to the fascist era and of which
the “EUR” district is one of its strongest examples.
The iconic ideas of this project stem from the period
of the Italian “Age d’or” and its main authors such
as Giovanni Michelucci, Pier Luigi Nervi, Giò Ponti,
Franco Albini, but also Europeans such as Loos, Le
Corbusier, Gropius and Behrens.
